Will Qian, studied at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology from 2005 to 2009, where he received his Bachelor of Engineering degree. He studied at the University of Hong Kong from 2009 to 2011, where he obtained his MPhil degree in Environmental Engineering. He studied “Low carbon city development” course in Cologne, Germany in 2013. He studied at Renmin University of China since 2020, specializing in Digital Economy and Financial Technology in the Master of National Economics. He studied at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in 2023 and certified as Senior Strategic Advisor in ESG.
He worked for China Shenzhen Emission Exchange and Jiangsu Environmental Resources Exchange from 2011 to 2015. He founded Suzhou Mint Information Technology Co., Ltd. (www.minttech.cn) in 2015. The company provides innovative consultation and IT solutions in the areas of environment and energy for government, industrial park, power grid, and corporate clients. He is also officially appointed as the chief consultant officer at WITC(Wuxi Institute of Inspection, Testing and Certification)'s certification institute (www.witc.cc). He founded Taisheng Technology Co., Ltd. (www.taishengtech.cn) in 2016. The company provides trading and consultancy services for international trade practice, including renewable energy equipments, international trade barrier consultancy, and other diversive subjects to help foreign companies to establish business in China and to help Chinese manufacturers to export. This team is familiar with government policies as well as business operations and has extensive resources, particularly in the Yangtze River Delta region of China. He was invited by CEO Eric to join BTC's consultancy business in 2020 and is responsible for developing business partnerships in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai for foreign investors.
