Close to the national Highway 318, the National Highway 205, and the Provincial Highways 320 and 216, the Development Zone is on a convenient route southward to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong; westward to Wuhan, Lhasa, northward to Qingdao, Tianjin, and Beijing through Wuhu and Nanjing; eastward to Hangzhou and Shanghai (a 2 to 3.5 hour bus-ride). It is only about 100km to Yellow Mountains, Mount Jiuhua and Pacific Lake. The provincial tourism rapid route runs through the area. The park is 45km from Wuhu Yangtse River Bridge and 43 km from Zhujiaqiao Foreign Trade Wharf, 44 km form Wuhu Railway Station. Therefore the transportation of goods here is very convenient.

Nanling Economic Development Zone, the provincial Development Zone of Anhui Province, programmed and constructed from 2001 is a garment trade base and a manufacture of machinery, plastic and textile base of Anhui province. NEDZ is located in southwest of Nanling County Town, occupying an area of 43 square kilometers all favored by the basic infrastructure facilities of power, water , drainage, telecommunications, road and land-leveling. The first Period Construction Area of NEDZ located in the north of the provincial Highway 320 with an area of 5 square kilometers will finish its construction at the end of 2007; now it owns almost 120 enterprises and has a value of output of 15.09 billion RMB at the end 2007. The Second Period Construction Area that located in the south of the provincial Highway 320 occupying an area of 9.8 square kilometers today started to build in 2006; it is designed with the concept of “Ecotype, Group type and Opening type”. In order to make full use of the advantage of industrial assembly and area assembly, it forms the development model of forming brand enterprises, regional industry groups and one park with multiple gardens. Nowadays Quanzhou Project Area. Zhejiang Businessmen Project Area and Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Project Area and so on have moved their first steps in industry groups which will surely turn a new leaf of NEDZ development. Food Industrial Zone Locates in the east of provincial Highway 216 occupying an area of 2 square kilometers. Taking full advantage of the resources of Nanling the green food processing industry is enlarged and strengthened so as to promote the development of industry and agriculture at the same time. Now Guangdong Wenshi enterprise, Anhui Baita Food Co.Ltd., and other enterprises are being admitted into it.
